Finance Committee
Posted on May 15th, 2010
Who We Are
We are a group of ten parishioners appointed by the Pastor. We are from various career backgrounds but have a knowledge/expertise in the fields of management or finance.
What We Are About
The Finance Committee is about the life of a community of faith. We strive to keep the parish fiscally sound by balancing the needs and wants of the parish. We focus on the short term and long term goals in relation to both the spirtual needs of the parish community and the physical buildings on our parish campus.
What We Do
The purpose of the Finance Committee is to assist the pastor in the implementation of policy decisions in a manner that is fiscally responsible. The Committee consults with the pastor in the areas of budget, buildings and maintenance, and financial planning and development. We review and approve the church and school budget, annual report, and monthly financials all in accordance with Archdiocesan policy.
Who We Serve
We serve Fr. Larry Lisowski and the various organizations and ministries that are in effect at SS. Cyril. We support the Parish Council in the ideas and policies that they create in order to uphold the mission and ministry of the church.
When We Meet
We meet every third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.
